I think Moss was faster than Harvin (at least at 40 yds or more) but Harvin was quicker.

Percy was a kind of hybrid and had a skill set that I had never seen before or after him. He could explode north and south out of the backfield or any where on the field, and in such a way that no one was ready for it and it almost guaranteed him a minimum of 5 yards or more. He was devastating as both a RB and WR. (super rare)

Probably from all the season ending injuries he sustained in the one half he played per year.

    Been watching UF 06, 07, 08, re-runs.

My God, I can't believe I forgot just how good Brandon James was. Not to forget Quezzie either, he could flip a field in a hurry to.
Man, we have to burn a good ship on a guy like James. It's so worth it when you have a good one.

I'll tell you something else about James, guy could get POUNDED, and would not drop the rock. That kid was tough as nails!

    Rick,
Shame on you! I'm salivating like Pavlov's dog! Hope Hawkins is everything we hope for, especially on returns!!!

BTW, I'm sure you have heard that Will Miles did a little research and UF was last (as in 14th) in the SEC last year
regarding starting field position. That MUST change. Guy's like Hawkins could make that happen!

James was pound for pound was perhaps the fiercest Gator I've seen. Total warrior. No fear.

Not only having a great return guy, but the other 10 guys on the field setting up those returns is crucial
