By: Kevin Sweeney The NCAA tournament selection committee gave fans a preview of what brackets could look like come Selection Sunday by revealing its top 16 teams Saturday . . . https://www.si.com/college/2023/02/...rst-march-madness-bracket-preview-ncaa-top-16
Two SEC teams. Interesting. I wish we could keep up with the likes of Iowa State and Houston. Dreaming I guess.
When picking my March Madness pools I usually discount Pac-12 teams but this UCLA team is legit. Saint Mary's deserves to be in the Top 16 and isn't. They did beat Gonzaga once already albeit at home and in OT. And they gave everything Houston could handle on a semi-neutral court that favored Houston. If Saint Mary's is a seven seed I have them in the Sweet Sixteen. Virginia in the Top 16 is a joke. The ACC is HORRIBLE this year. Virginia is the top ACC team in Pomeroy at #34. Oops. Miami is the top ACC team at #29.
No longer rooting for Bama, Nate Oates, and their "boys will be boys and not accomplices to murder" attitude.
