Oh you are right, but this guy is the 5 star QB among the sea of 2 star water boys. For example, Russia has been buying Iran's drones but they have a huge failing, they hate the cold. Russia is going to have to stop drone attacks for the winter. Not anymore. This arms dealer has connections even in the US. It remains to be seen how soon he can re-establish his connections.

Yeah, that's my concern. If Russia is going to be taking our folks hostage, we need to clearly state that travel there is prohibited, and if you choose to go anyway we won't be able to help you moving forward.

Any airline that operates in the US should also be barred from providing or facilitating passage to Russia for any US Citizen.

While I tend to agree that Russia got the better of the deal and Viktor Bout is a very bad person keep in mind that he has been incarcerated for almost 15 years so it's not like he's getting off scot free.

 

Anyone supporting Biden on this move is simply cheerleading. There's no rational explanation.

If i understand correctly Paul Whelan is a Canadian-born ex-United States Marine with U.S., British, and Irish citizenship. He is described as a corporate security director. He is likely a captured spy who isn’t on the table for return. That may be wrong.
