I do not disagree with you! Some of us are struggling with the concept, while the train is pulling away from the station.

Until the mindset at UF shifts from -all around excellence in all sports and academics to “be great at football at all costs and then trickle down to other sports”
We will continue to suffer. So the only way to win is to do what Bama just took a gamble with - which is - scheme over recruiting. Bama took that gamble because they felt like the machine is already in place so just get a guy who can out coach you.
Florida HAS to go that route because they aren’t gonna play the off-field game that the big dogs do. I hate to say this cuz he’s a jerk who quit… but someone like Mullen is much better at Florida. Yeah, you may not win a title and every 4-5 years you’ll have a suck season but you’ll win much more consistently … Lane, Heupel, Riley…. Those guys don’t win titles but they end up out recruiting us anyway because kids want to play in that style, fans wanna spend money cuz they win 8-10 a year and it’s an exciting brand. The Kirby/Saban model will NEVER EVER work at UF

not. There’s a reason the nfl rarely takes a RB in the first round. So many good ones out there.

plus he’s not a complete back, his blocking sucks. Gonna overpay for less than complete? Not I.

There was no intention involved, just a court ruling. The schools have to figure out how run things within those guidelines. Pro sports have tried and true systems.

I wonder how Steinbrenner would answer this.

Zero...unless you want to count donations possibly made to the UAA made by the trustees.

NFL players were being raped. I’m glad they got what they deserve but I can no longer watch those dipshits.

HIs family said he wanted to go somewhere to win and to be RB #1. Good luck with that.

Overpay, until they come anyway. Then pay what you have to.

    Go Gators.

Not sure if your post was sarcasm, but I agree. It’s all about priorities. But also, you bring up multiple points. The coaching staff money has nothing to do with nil. And many of the big boosters have prioritized other things over nil.

They better wake up and smell the coffee and prioritize football, profits

  18. Not a bad idea. “Florida Gators…sponsored by Gang Green… Just because your team does not have many highs it does not mean you cannot get high…”

Not exactly. Boosters do what they do without oversight. It’s up to them. More power to them as us reg fans depend on them. If they don’t buy, we don’t win. No hard feeling, there are fish to catch on Saturdays too.

Agree with that completely, just not sure about who needs to wake up and prioritize football. That’s an interesting discussion
