They are rewarding the magats instead of trying to broker a peace with McCarthy. Go team huh. I mean the team is more important than the country right?

The Dems need to step up and support a moderate candidate.

Now that McCarthy is out of the way, I wouldn't mind them getting a few moderate Republicans to back somebody like Fitzpatrick (who wouldn't challenge McCarthy). Grab a few committee positions and a promise not to engage in nonsense. Might need to wait a few votes though. If this turns into a complete dumpster fire, that might be the move.

Dems are united and show they are capable of governing and getting things done. Why isn’t the responsibility of the few moderates in the GOP to cross the aisle? There are maybe 3-4 loony libs in Congress. There are over 100 (closer to 150) loonies in the GOP. Why be loyal to that team?

I firmly reject your unreasonable take.

Why isn’t it possible to find a moderate Republican, who would agree to open votes with democrats, and possibly agree to either shut down or expedite the impeachment hearings, and get 100% democratic support and maybe 6-8 moderate republicans?

Not many districts that a Republican can win while some primary extremist calls them a RINO though. Basically, you have to create more danger from the general public than their own primary voters. Not many districts where that is the case without a complete dumpster fire in the Republican caucus.

sure fire way to make sure that moderate isn’t appointed. They should come out and say absolutely no way no how should it be ________ and then the GOP will back that person. Wish I was joking.

In furtherance of my point. This person is purportedly a GOP moderate. Why he hell would any Dem help this party of loons, charlatans and assorted vile natures?

Upon further reflection rather than figuring out who’s their choice for speaker Pubes decide to adjourn for a week to go on much needed vacation.

Isn’t that the one that puts on a totally different face when going on mainstream media outlets?

Just shows how dishonest some of them are. But she might actually be one of the worst as far as the ridiculous performance art. Most of the true crazies don’t actually play multiple characters or don’t do mainstream media.
