    No. Absolutely not.

    Stay out of that one.

Now this is with a proviso - who would be the majority leader if he is out? That is a key driver as well.

Question - has there been any significant legislation on his watch?

    Funny. Everyone hates Kevin.

“On Thursday, six Republicans — Reps. Dan Bishop, N.C., Marjorie Taylor Greene, Ga., Matt Rosendale, Mont., Andy Biggs, Ariz., Eli Crane, Ariz., and Tom Cole, Okla. — joined Democrats in voting against the rule for the Pentagon appropriations bill 212-216, preventing the legislation from moving forward in the chamber.”

I don't have the skill set or energy to try to figure out the game theory permutations with this circus. I know Pelosi has stepped aside and isn't the minority leader, but I still trust her more than any Democrat to chart a course through these ridiculous waters. My vote is for whatever she says.

And ironically he went through with the impeachment charade in an attempt to gain the approval the MAGA caucus in the House and it didn't make any difference in the end.

Donalds is a MAGA clown. From my area and put forward by MAGA because he is black and will support them. I want him nowhere near the office.

They are doing the smart thing in hammering home the fact the GOP is incapable of governing.

I don't think either Gaetz or McCarthy is looking good at this point. McCarthy started an impeachment inquiry (with basically nothing), bent the knee on Jan. 6, and has apparently backed out of a series of agreements with Democrats. I see no reason for them to bail out Republicans from being unable to govern. McCarthy can make a deal if he would like. I suspect that this ends with Speaker Stefanik after days (or weeks) of bitter recriminations. I suspect that she might take it as she doesn't have a pathway to another office anyways in New York (and, thus, this can be her peak). I doubt McCarthy goes quietly.

That said, they should make a deal now with respect to McCarthy getting his job back. Time for the middle to take hold

Wow, I am legit surprised. After that mess in January, didn't think he would step down and would force everything into chaos. Apparently, he will.
