Once again if a hostile country were to send one of its agents to assassinate an American president the chances are that the assassin would be infiltrated in the US legally under a student, tourist or temporary work visa rather than through infiltration at the Southern border. I guess a person who overstayed a legal visa would technically be illegal although that's not the same as illegally crossing the Southern border. It's also easier to enter this US at the Northern border than the Southern border. Years ago my son and I did a camping trip at Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. Based personal observation it's much easier to paddle from Canada to the US than to cross the Southern border.

Yep, had a similar experience. Got lost outside Glacier National Park around 2006. Went to a rafting town with no electricity (basically, a hippy town). Then turned the wrong direction out of it, drove for a bit, and ended up noticing that the mailboxes suddenly all had Canadian flags. Turned around quickly as I didn't have my passport, as I wasn't planning on leaving the country.

Presumably it's not the case anymore I remember crossing the border by car between Alaska and British Columbia. It was prior to 9-11 so presumably there is now more security at the time the border station is only manned during normal work hours. It was unmanned at night so that one could simply drive by.

Like I said, this was in 2006. Well after 9-11. A lot of very rural areas on the border that they don't even bother to monitor on either side. There wasn't even a border station there, if I remember correctly (or ridiculously enough, even a sign).

If they don’t fire her it will get Mayorkas impeached. While he still might, that would seem to nearly guarantee her days are numbered.

Serious question here. There is simply too much for me to keep up with. Is Kim Cheadle a man or a woman? Is this in question?

I would apply the majority of this to Obama. As one coming from the right. I understand you don’t like Trump’s policies and therefore his leadership. I felt the same about Obama. And feel Obama caused massive damage to the country. Biden is just a joke…

Mayorkas was already impeached over border policy. If he's impeached again the result will be the same in the Senate.

Totally disagree with this statement about press conferences. Trump probably did twice as many press conferences as Biden did.

Well this certainly gives lie to the claim that Republicans know the difference between men and women.

That tweet mentions “no ladder” however there are dozens of photos of an extension ladder placed going up to the roof.

    This is tracked.

Trump did do twice as many when looking at combined solo and joint press conferences, it is almost exactly double! But the data is a bit whack because Trump racked up huge press conferences in 2020 when he was trying to sell his covid lies and his election lie.

The numbers of solo press conferences for each.

    Trump
    2017 - 1
    2018 - 5
    2019 - 3
    2020 - 35 <<—— LOL

    Biden
    2021 - 6
    2022 - 5
    2023 - 3
    2024 - 0

I’d say given the context, it’s probably noteworthy Biden’s done ZERO solo press conferences this year. He has, however, done 3 “joint” press conferences this year according to that same data.

You’re not assembling an AR -15 from pieces without tools aside from separating the upper and lower receivers and possibly removing the stock if it is collapsible one.

You mean you’re not going to be breaking out your roll pin punches and brass hammer, fighting with that damn bolt catch pin, and praying you don’t launch any of the tiny springs into outer space, all while trying to avoid detection on a roof?

But yes, this is spot on. I’ve built a lot of ARs. Other than breaking them in half or putting the two halves back together, there is no assembly you are doing quickly or while on the move.

Excellent point. Those Trump press conferences, too. Gosh almighty, I'll say. Some of the best press conferences in the history of our country. :emoji_upside_down::emoji_upside_down:

Oh, you must mean when the mods deleted your post where you called me an antisemite because I was critical of Israel? Then you got butt hurt and went away for months? Is that what you really mean?
