I support the concept of making America great again. Using the phrase "Make America Great Again" as the title of Trump's movement is the ultimate oxymoron since his agenda would the opposite. By the way the slogan was actually originated by the Reagan campaign in 1980. Unlike Trump Reagan didn't register it as a trademark so that he could use it to make money by selling merchandise.

 

Although the actual decisions regarding security at the rally were made by her subordinates as Director of the agency Cheatle is ultimately responsible. She's gone. The only questions are when and will she resign or wait to be fired?

 

Disagree. Cheatle is gone and those supervisory Secret Service agents responsible for making the decisions in Pennsylvania will either also be canned, forced to retire if they are eligible or at a minimum will be demoted and reassigned to positions with less responsibility.

 

My guess, he would still do these rallies, but might have a clear bullet proof shield at podium or hire extra support.
When we don't vet who is coming through our borders, let alone prepare for our own crazies bad things can happen. It only takes one lapse, one mistake. There are terrorist nations that would love to assassinate DT and if they suspect and rightfully so that we are weak on security, who knows.
I believe there are some people in this current administration that would shed no tears if DT was killed especially if it meant dems would keep the White House.

 

Why are you talking about immigrant workers and foreign terrorists when so far it’s only been white, male, red blooded American, conservative, republicans that keep trying to kill Trump and Pence? A politician or other high profile celebrity has much more to fear from an American citizen with serious psychiatric problems than an undocumented immigrant. While I agree that the there are terrorist nations that would love to assassinate Trump, Iran coming immediately to mind, the chances are that the assassin(s) would be an American citizen or a foreign national who entered the country legally not someone who crossed the Southern border illegally. There is much greater chance that a potential assassin attempting to cross the Southern border illegally would be apprehended than one who entered the US legally on tourist, student or work visa.

Although that scenario is possible it's still much more likely that Crooks was targeting Trump considering that information regarding Biden was also found on his phone. Like John Hinckley it's much more likely that Crooks wanted to receive the notoriety of an assassin rather than just a mass murderer.

Maybe Elon needs to devise a system where you can get multiple check marks instead if just 1. This is a meritocracy after all. Everyone having the same exact blue mark is commie bs, and blue is the color of the dem commies. Don’t get me started on that.

So I’d suggest a person that is super credible can pay $40/mo and have checkmarks in the color of their choice. That way, if you see one poster with 5 red checks, and another with a lowly 2 blue check marks. You’d instantly know which Twitter user you can trust more and should follow. That would definitely help people get to their truth, and really that’s all that matters here.

For us Never-Trumpers, we see him as unchanged and unchanging. We do not see him as a good policy maker. He might have good sales pitches that sound good —take for instance “MAGA” — but we think his platform and his intentional messages of division and discord are the antithesis of making America great, or even keeping America great.

We don’t see him as a good leader — far from it. Our country was divided more than ever before under his “leadership.” We believe he has no regard for truth or integrity. We believe that he has the attention span of a 6 year old who just ate three scoops of ice cream chased by a 48 ounce thermos of Mountain Due. And to make matters far worse, our thoughts merely echo those who actually worked for the guy.

I’ll further say that your comparison to Reagan — IMO — is far off the mark. Reagan led all Americans; Trump leads rallies. Heck, Trump barely held any press conferences during his Presidency because he only cared about speaking with his constituents that fawn over him.

Yes, Trump has a sordid past — both personally and professionally (multiple consumer fraud cases, multiple bankruptcies, renowned for stiffing vendors and creditors, amongst other things). But Never-Trumpers like me have set their mindset with a history of his behavior both before, during and after his presidency. Be honest — how many times during his presidency did you cringe when you read his midnight tweets?!?! Or when he said off-the-wall statements. How many Trump supporters have said here, countless times, “don’t listen to what he says or thumbs, listen only to what he does (or words to that effect)? But, of course, the words and posts of the President do matter.

I am not trying to challenge your support of Trump. Obviously, you’re not in the minority, and the guy right now is clearly out in front, looking like he will win. But he is not this innocent victim undeserving of the “leftist” mob. There are people that have bona fide reasons for strongly believing he is not the guy that should be leading our country, nor is he the guy that should be in charge of our Nation’s treasure, or secrets or security.

 

So, with the likes of Iran who has a grudge against DT and has vowed to take him out, what you are saying is no one can slip through the cracks and take him out? I understand in the past it has been domestic assassins but in the past 4 years we have what some say 6 million illegal aliens coming across our border.
