Trolls have been making a bunch of fake IG accounts of the shooter and adding tags such as BLM

    Nerves and inexperience.
I am experienced enough at shooting hogs and prefer head shots because you don’t have to search for them and it saves meat. But, almost all have been within 40yds! Most 15-20. At 123yds, I would move from the just a head shot toward the neck/head area or the lower 1/3 of the chest cavity. Depends on the presentation, situation, and my nerves. A hogs head isn’t big and it sort of moves around a lot. Breathing control and nerve suppression is paramount. Shooting paper at 100yds is easy. No stress. Stationary target. IMO, he was scared and pulled it left when he finally said “f-it”. I don’t think he’s fired a rifle very much.

Lol. In their defense if he really did aim for dudes right ear while giving a speech then they successfully hired the best sniper of all time.

Anyways, to put to bed all the people who think it's a professional hit hired by the newly immune Biden in an official act, or a highly experienced gun nut, just look how quickly a secret services sniper hit him back for $70,000 - $120,000 a year, despite having to adjust fire for such a close target. Imagine the accuracy actual money could pay for. 123 yards is something Jimbo expects to knock down on the back 40 after 13 beers

Is Antifa still a thing? I swear the only time I hear them mentioned is when MAGA folks are trying to blame them for shit.

Don’t understand the fear of statins. At a minimum one could to 5 mg crestor (typical minimum dose is 10mg) and 5 mg has no side effects, a lowers cholesterol 30-40%.

And most of them can be answered by lapses in SS protocol and cracks in the system that the guy walked through

I have been trying to think about the shots as fired in the video by sound. A lot of questions. Especially when you back up and look at the big picture. How the heck did the SS miss this…

Definitely where a major breakdown happened. The question will be was there lapses or was there something else. Obviously any lapse is possible. We are all human. But in 2024…it is hard to believe that spot missed the checklist. Not saying it would not happen. But that is a checklist spot that human factors likely do not miss considering the amount of preparation and time put in along with the resources. It was just too obvious of a spot it appears.

Fwiw, the only reason he missed is Trump happened to move his head slightly at just the right moment. Assuming a milspec rifle with mil surplus ammo and a decent shooter, you’re probably realistically looking at about a 2-4” group at 100 yards, or about 3-6” at 150 yards (shooter’s distance). Enough to be pretty confident in making that type of shot at a head size target. Better ammo and/or an accurized rifle may get you to around 1” at 100 yards or 1.5” at 150. I have a couple capable of that type of accuracy in a 5 shot group but they aren’t cheap unless you just happen to get lucky with tolerances lining up the right way. Wind is also not going to be a factor at that distance. It’s function of time and cross sectional area and the bullet just isn’t in the air long enough.

I say all that to say that as I said before, Trump was extremely lucky and it does not take an expert or a gun nut to make a shot like that. Any decent rifle and even somewhat skilled shooter is not going to have trouble making that type of shot. The only reason Donald Trump is alive is he happened to move his head at the right moment.

It’s fair to say you want people to think that. Whether or not he actually was is TBD

Appreciate this. It will be interesting to find out how often they think he fired a gun. I own 5 but have not fired them. They are locked away and still never been loaded. I would not know what to do if I went to a range lol. Which is why they have not been fired or loaded. Hearing this kid took his dads gun…was trying to get a feel as the facts come out the likelihood of different situations.

That is the profile of a lot of mass shooters and sometimes would be assassins. (the bullied loner, not the overweight ex-Potus).

Let's see what they results are of the profile that is developed to see what the motivation actually is. Sometimes its is not even political (Arthur Bremmer-George Wallace).

    We will know soon.

Having firearms in your home that you aren't comfortable handling is not a great idea.

Snipers posted up at the venue would actually have to adjust to shoot that close. Make of that what you will.

I haven't shot anything in a decade but was in the army in my late teens and early 20s, would bet my life savings on a 123 yard shot if I can pick the gun and spend a few hours at the range with it.

He aimed for the head (or just shot wildly) which no experienced shooter would do unless you're extremely confident, and even then not really.

at 150 yards with a milspec rifle and ammo a 6 inch plate (roughly head size) would be considered “point blank”. That is, you could aim center and the bullet would not deviate in flight enough to be outside the plate
