Shaq has become my all-time favorite former NBA player. He is very hilarious, a gentleman and absolutely real.

I'm often conflicted about Shaq. Hungry Shaq was the most dominant NBA player ever. But we only got a couple hundred games of him spread over five or six seasons. We got a lot of Goofball Shaq, who was still pretty good, but not the dominant force that Hungry Shaq was. I sometimes wonder what the record books would have looked like if Shaq had the killer instinct and work ethic of a Jordan or a Kobe. But at the same time, the Shaq that we have is a national treasure, and I don't think Hungry Shaq would have been nearly as much fun after his playing days were over.
