Good lord. If hyperbole bothers you, you should probably avoid this place. If gifs about hyperbolic posts bother you, you should really avoid it. And yes I'm guilty of complaining about hyperbole too. I get it. I was just adding to the hyperbole.. yo be.. ya know... Hyperbolic. I wanna fit in with the cool kids.
I will see your Shannon Bream and raise you one Pamela Brown. By the way, you’re not a conservative. Google Image Result for https://cdn.cnn.com/cnnnext/dam/assets/201204114840-pamela-brown-centered-super-tease.jpg
My friend, Charlie Skalaski, used to coach there. So did his son. Charlie’s back at UF unless Billy Napier has since replaced him.
Hiring someone for a job based on their looks is sexist. Especially since that fact would generally mean a more talented (less attractive) person is passed over.
Tilly, you’re not a dummy. It is not sexist to point out that a company is hiring women based on their looks. Hiring women based on their looks is sexist in most instances. Fox News even set things up so that the viewers would see these women’s bare legs. A more interesting argument is whether it was sexist for Hooters to exclusively hire hot-looking women as their servers. What do you all think about that one?
I had a buddy send me an email once of a topless woman news lady that was rather attractive. Unfortunately she was in another country. If we had one of those in this country I’d watch the news every day. Every day only because I’d probably not remember what the news was from the day before. If that’s sexist I’m all in and damn proud of it. #letmedroolallovermyselfinpeace
I only ever went for the wings and beer. They have girls there? Seriously. I think any business model based exclusively on looks is in essence "sexist" or more accurately discriminatory. I grew up and stopped patronizing such places for that reason. Marriage, daughters etc tend to change perspective.
Again, the sexist part here is how Fox hired reporters (which involved twirling for Roger Ailes) not people pointing out that is how Fox hired employees.
I still see families with children eating at the Wing House where the servers expose the bottom half of their buttocks. That’s part of their business model.
There was actually a law suit about that, where a guy sued Hooters because they wouldn't hire him as a waiter. I think Hooters settled and agreed to hire some male waiters. Never seen one, though.... and both my wife and daughter love Hooters so we go occassionally.
so all you who think it is sexist to hire a female because of her looks also believe it is not ok to hire a individual because of the color of their skin over more qualified individuals, right?
Some people are not bothered by it. My wife and I will eat at Hooters and The Wing House. I guess we aren’t woke.
