    I don't know why it was leaked. The two best theories are that one of the Republicans did it to pressure Kavanaugh to not go along with Roberts, who wanted to uphold Mississippi's 15-week ban without being honest that he was overruling Roe, or that a Democrat did it in hopes public anger would make SCOTUS reconsider. The opinion was coming out one way or another before the election.
