There is no transparency or accountability. Just because they are doing it brazenly and you agree with what you think is maybe happening doesn’t mean it’s above board. While Musk has no legal authority it should be rather obvious by now that Trump has delegated a great deal of his authority as POTUS to Elon Musk. In fact Musk's recent stunts with respect to federal agencies have actually gone beyond what any actual POTUS has done.

I simply have no problem with it, or Elon. What i do know about Elon, is that the guy is pretty good with money (pretty much the best), and he's turned most every company he's bought into a monster success.

 

Appreciate the response- much more thoughtful than I get around here lately. I doubt musk accumulated all that wealth by being an altruistic human being. Kind of makes it hard to trust someone that has so much to gain by tinkering with the system. But I guess if you trust Trump then…

 

What gives Musk the right to lock civil servants out of their computers? To stop Congressionally appropriated monies from being distributed? Or access to Fed workers' PII (Personal Identifying Information)? How is any of this legal?

And Musk always a success? The value of Twitter has dropped about 75% since he took over.
