Is that why the Stones, Elton John, Springsteen, and Roger Waters, among many others, are still touring

So you are crediting Kerwin for success but blaming others for failure...

Indeed he is. WCU is a consistent cellar dweller who went 8-4 last year and almost made the FCS playoffs. He will make the playoffs this season. He may even add to his d2 natty that he got with a team that doesn't offer football scholarships.

Disagree bacon without giving a good reason as to why he shouldn't is smooth brained cowardice.

Who knows? But what we do know is that Kerwin's been around forever, is 60ish, and time is running out. I'm an Eighties Gator and love Kerwin, but there must be a reason why he was relatively ignored.

A lot of times it's how a guy interviews or who he knows, our current coach is here because he was a WR coach for Saban, stuff like that gives guys an advantage, some guys just don't get that advantage.

Bobbie Weir doesn’t play for cash even though they charge way too much these days. The real ones play because that’s who they are. It’s not a job. “ when you wake up and do whatever you want all day, you’re successful.”

    Omnipresent
it absolutely is 100% coaching every way you slice it.
CBN has hung his hat on the oline and bunch sets and 12 personell and attention to detail and that’s all the things we are atrocious at.
You can’t recruit OL? Still on you but guess what - you have TWO OL coaches so feasibly you can get a 3 and coach him up to a 4-5. NOPE
You INSIST on shunning any of the things that make SEC teams great on offense- 4-5 wide, crossing routes, running QB, tempo etc etc / and Instead run a watered down version of what UGA does despite not having the dudes or depth or coaching acumen to impose your will. You COULD scheme past some of that- but Nahhh we’ll just keep doing this repetitively and maybe we’ll get SOOO good at naked boots?!?
Entire sections of the fiend disappear, entire players disappear - zero tempo, no flow… I’m watching this just mind boggled wondering “what is it they are trying to accomplish?” Cuz it’s clearly not score.

How many of those guys were retired for years both before and after their stints in the nfl? The game played today is not the same game Urban coached. The last time he was coaxed out of retirement was an abject failure. I, personally, have little interest in seeing what would happen should he be coaxed out again.

No offense to Kerwin, but UF needs a proven HC at the P4 level. I’m tired of breaking in coaches at this level.

Jedd Fisch is a UF alum who served as a grad assistant under SOS. He's been quite verbal in the past about UF being a dream job.

The ad job should be opening up soon. Go get it, hire Kerwin. We’ll have your head on a stake next to Stricklin’s soon enough.

Because asking an immobile lineman to repeatedly pull across the formation works as well as having a receiving TE handle the DE.

you play to your strengths whether it is what you want to do or not.
