Sunday matters. The committee has several scenarios already locked down. They have too. What if Mississippi State wins the SECT? They likely have Bama and us interchangeable at this point and if we win the SECT we likely jump them. (We should already but...)

After yesterday's games, Barttovik.com sim is seeding UF #5. Beat TAMU & Auburn/Miss St & we sim to a #4. "Similar resumes" though point to #6.
I think Florida is well setup for a 5/6 seed in terms of intangibles the committee looks for (but will say they dont) that make good television. A brand that will attract viewers, a talent level to challenge any of the top 4 seeds and be a dark horse threat to make the final four. So with the Bama win, I think we've locked a resume that will get us a 6 in as our floor IMHO. But I think we could play as high as a 4, especially with a championship game win v Auburn.
South Carolina is not even in our top 5 of most hated rivals. OBC a Gator great, Mike White a Gator failure. And it wasn't a direct move by Spurrier either. C'mon man!

Still want to know what Alabama has done to earn a top 4 seed. Struggled OOC with no signature wins and got blown out twice by UF, nearly avoiding going 0-3 against them with an OT win at home. If UF wins tomorrow, they’ll also go into the tournament with less losses (11 to 10). Makes no sense.
Every single major metrics site (including the most important, NET) have Bama appreciably higher. Our wins closed the gap, but seeding isn’t a zero sum game. It’s not them vs us; it’s them vs the field.
