SECT OGT -- FLORIDA vs. Texas A&M 03/16/2023 (3:30 PM -- ESPN)

As expected, wife doing all she can to make sure I miss tipoff time. We are locked in strategic warfare between two experienced Generals. She knows there’s a big game today but won’t admit it. I am playing along by being a good dad going out with the family to do random b.s. she came up with but I can’t disclose that I need to be home before 3:30 pm. The minute I let her know, she will out flank me and extra objectives to the mission. Of course, I can counter by ordering a tactical withdrawal to home base once it gets close to tipoff, but that should be avoided at all costs to avoid a larger military conflict

 

I remember those days! It gets better. My youngest is a senior in HS (headed to UF next year), so she is off on her own. Much easier to do what you want to (Gator games) at this stage. Also helps my wife went to UF!

 

Enemy forces are attempting to add lunch into the battle plans. I may have to resort to psychological operations.

 

My advise is go with a mild sprain. Ankle is best as long as you keep limping until you get home. Need to elevate it in a reclined position with the remote. Wrist sprain is trickier especially if you are carrying the shopping bags. A good leg cramp might work if you've been walking much.

 

I have a feeling we might have both Shows and Adams officiating our game
