Oddly enough, Pitino and St. John’s lost an exhibition last night to D2 Pace University. Odder still, Pitino autocorrected to Putin.
There are some really nice plays by the Bigs in that longer clip. I particularly liked the blocks by Haugh and Condon, the spin move by Samuel, and the dish from Condon to Handlogten.
For the old-timers here, he reminds me more of Syracuse's Rony Seikaly, who we played against in the Sweet 16 in UF's first-ever appearance in the NCAAT. Seikaly, who was from Lebanon, was a strong, aggressive, and athletic 6'-11" center. Had a long career in the NBA. Condon has a similar body, motor, and athleticism, from the little I've seen of him.
