SEC Tournament Softball

Not me-I just have to set my alarm. LOL.

 

When does the SEC announce the player of the year awards and the All American players?
I noticed a few conferences have already announced theirs.

 

why are they playing at 11, game 2 has to be finished, then game 3,or did i miss the resumed play today.

 

South Carolina beat TAM 1-0 and Bama Beat Missouri 7-2 Wednesday night.

 

Auburn is losing to Ole Miss 4-2. Penta was taken out. A lot of underdogs came to play!

 

Penta only lasted 2.1 innings. 5 hits, 4 runs,( 3 earned) 3 BB and only 1 strike out. ole miss leads 4-2.

 

Now 6-2

 

6-5 now. ole miss with 3 errors so far..

 

Even the best pitchers have a bad day now and then. It was surprising for me to see her struggle today.

 

Interesting that Auburn bought Penta back in. I would've thought Lowe would come in for the save.

 

Great game. Both teams fought. Ole Miss had a great tournament.

 

The reversal of HBP on the Ole Miss batter was crazy. The supposed ruling made no sense, calling it a ball with the batter clearly in the box.

 

I thought the same thing, the ball was curving in and she was checking her swing, but what do you expect with Birmingham AL making the call. I'd be pissed if I were an Ole Miss fan.

 

SEC review totally a botched a call against Sam Roe in our game.

 

Ole Miss got robbed on that call.

 

Terrible call by SC 3rd base coach with 1 out.

Montana Fouts had to leave the game vs. Arkansas with 2 outs in the bottom of the 7th with a foot or ankle injury. Looked like she hyperextended her plant foot and after trying to throw some test pitches she was in too much pain to continue. Game going to the 8th tied 1-1. Delce still in for Arkansas.
