I don't think they're hiding. Believe what you've read. Chemistry, talent, experience, hunger, work and accountability. It's all coming together. Enjoy the journey.

 

The questions I heard all seemed to revolve around the schedule and (lol) certain reporters actual line of questioning suggested they thought he would give them a "won-loss" prediction.

 

Or... that we would complain about the schedule.

I was hoping someone would say they love it... more meaningful games are fun.

 

Could he have answered the questions any differently? “I believe in our team”… “we have experience, depth and leadership that we haven’t had before”… “everyone in that locker room is someone I wanted, and who really wanted to be here”.

The schedule is the schedule and he’s not running from it. And I haven’t heard or seen anyone, within the program, bellyache or complain about it since it was released.

 

I might tune in for that. I don’t care too much about all the coach speak.

Can we get the dentist some media credentials?

 

You do understand that coaches were offered and turned him down, right? This goes right back to the freaking disaster our team was just 2 short years ago

 

Truthfully, I don't know. What coaches were contacted? What coaches turned him down? All I remember was that the initial coaches and even some of the current coaches he hired he already knew or had coached with.
It just seems that our AD was willing to open the checkbook for him so I would think money would be no issue in hiring a top notch DC at the very least. But maybe he was just more comfortable in bringing along with him some of his coaches.

 

We were left behind by teams that were paying players and our unfortunate HC hires. We've been scrambling to catch up with new facilities, new money in the NIL world and for recruiting. Fits and starts but lots of progress. Seems like we're on track and wins will follow. We'll lose some heartbreakers and probably not make the playoffs but I think we'll see a good team this year.

 

What I am hearing is this team is hungrier than Gator teams have been in maybe a decade, they have been working hard on developing their craft but even more importantly team chemistry via the "buy in" of all the players. Was delighted to hear that Graham and Danny have a special relationship.

 

After the spring game, I was very high on Jaden Baugh. When i heard Montrell's remarks about Jaden Baugh, it confirmed what i thought. Jaden may turn out to be our next great running back, who will make us forget about Etienne.

 

Hope we upstage Shart and his intention of hammering us with ETN.
