I can’t imagine a game to attend or watch less than this one, except for the game played in lovely Shreveport annually, whatever it is. I always thought these lesser bowl games would decrease but they seem to increase as of late. On tv, they try not to pan the crowds because the stands are not too occupied.
Now I might watch a bowl named the Trojan Condom Bowl just to see the signs and floats!

 

I turned on the Duke Mayo Bowl earlier today just because it was football. I could care less about either team. When the announcers started talking about all the receivers for Maryland that were opting out of the game or in the portal, I turned it off. So sick of hearing about the opt outs etc.

The proliferation of bowl games is crazy with low attendance as you noted. I mentioned in a game thread last week questioning why so many cities have multiple bowl games. My example was Orlando... They had a bowl game in their soccer stadium last week, then last night the Cheezit Bowl with Oklahoma and halfassu, and on Monday they'll host the Citrus Bowl.

As for this game, Go Irish. (And I truly dislike ND).. I'm an oddity on these forums in that I never pull for SEC teams in Bowls unless they're playing the Noles. To hell with all of them. I appreciate the Cocks knocking Tennessee out of the CFB Playoffs but that's as far it goes.

 

I'm SMH here seeing that SC is ranked.
