I get it, still don't see it as a significant advantage for the offense. If anything it would make the pocket smaller which should be the option of the offense.

Might be that they believed they were much better and were surprised at how ineffective they were against an ‘inferior’ Miami team. Then a lot of guys were second guessing everything. There’s no way our coaches are teaching the safeties to run away from tackles … more likely they are just not confident after the bad start. I think the team is better than they showed but still a LOT of work left to do, especially on defense.

 

Missouri comes into 4th quarter on a little bit of a drive. 1st play, converts a third. Then: backwards, 3rd and long complete a 4 yard pass, failed on 4th.

1st play after that: A&M 33 yard completion.

Against the 9th ranked team. I continue to think: once past the first few teams, nothing is really knowable.
