I’d start with national championships won , then SEC championships won, then playoff teams. Saban, Smart, Kelly. Who else is in this group?
Being in the Beamer and Pittman tier makes sense, although CBN has more upside. Stoops has to be higher, but Napier also has much higher upside.
Why would they ignore his past success in the conference? Hell, if anything he should have an easier time of it at Auburn vs Ole Miss.
He did a very good job at Ole Miss when he was there. He's an Ahole, but, I think he's proven himself in the SEC.
The only one I would quibble with is Kiffen who has won exactly nada in all his head coaching years except twitter championships. He is ranked way too high.
Could quibble with a few but overall not bad. As for Freeze, does he really deserve cred for Ole Miss when he left them with major sanctions. I'd take Kiffin over Freeze any day. It is interesting how these rankings change from year to year based on prior year results. Not long ago Jimbo would have been at least #3.
Hugh Freeze while at Ole Miss beat Alabama twice, in consecutive seasons, that’s strong. Anyone else done that?

You think kif is going to beat Bama? I don’t. Major sanctions, nope, minor sanctions for doing exactly what he was paid to do. If everything was 100% transparent, all coaches would be sanctioned. There are worse things in the world than hookers.
Uh, perhaps you should relook at the sanctions ole miss got hit with. Not minor at all. And I doubt freeze was paid to cheat and get the Rebs a 2 year bowl ban and recruiting limits. Sure, there are worse things than hookers and that's not why ole miss got slammed. Freeze was just a bible toting hypocrite in regard to the hookers. Btw, you may not like Kiffin, but he has a better record at ole miss than freeze did and that's not counting all the Freeze wins the NCAA erased.
Yep, a big resume builder and no doubt a major factor in why Auburn hired him. Of course I recall his best team coming into the Swamp after beating Bama and getting crushed by the Gators 38-10. We were there loving every minute.
I think Lane Kiffin is the most overrated coach in college football. He tried so hard to be Steve Spurrier, which he never will be. He’s a funny guy don’t get me wrong, but let’s not act like Ole Miss is on the level of Vandy. It’s a solid program that has won before.
