And let's just chalk this up as another lie fail from you. Man, does it ever get tiresome lying so much for a criminal? Do you ever get tired of being proven wrong?

    Traitor
    noun

      • a person who betrays a friend, country, principle, etc.

The rest of your post is obviously gibberish. Just word-spew to defend a traitor.

Your name-calling is quite sophomoric and I question if you even attended UF.
I do not condone the crowds behavior on J6.
As witnessed this past week was Nancy Pelosi personally admitting that she was to blame for not accepting President Trump’s offer of 10,000 National Guards weeks before.
In his address before the melee, he requested the crowd to act, “peacefully and patriotically”. Unfortunately, some did not.
There is no record of him “joyfully watching for three hours” what ensued.
Speaking of “records”, can you offer a reasonable explanation of why the Jan 6 Committee has destroyed all records of the event?
The DOJ has certainly lowered all standards of juris prudence over the last three years and this is just one of many.

Any person that was fighting with the cops should go to jail... just don't act like Trump made them do that.

    Tired.

You're late to the "lie for Trump about J6" party, so you need some new material.

Oh, and when you get it, please make it better than "derr, did you even go to UF? Herf, derf!"

Well, this response confirms what I and others have surmised. Namely, that you are a no more than a misinformed and childish lib sycophant and Trump-hater. His revenge will be, “success”, something you have probably never had.

Also, please stop lying. We don't like liars here.

Former President Donald Trump falsely claimed that then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi “turned down” his offer to send “10,000 soldiers or National Guard” to the Capitol during the Jan. 6 insurrection.

Pelosi does not direct the National Guard. Further, as the Capitol came under attack, she and then-Senate Majority leader Mitch McConnell called for military assistance, including from the National Guard.

There is no evidence that either Pelosi or McConnell directed the security officials not to call the guard beforehand.

FACT CHECK: Trump’s claim Pelosi turned down his offer to send National Guard members on Jan. 6, 2021

Interesting is what this case means for the Documents case. Trump clearly obstructed justice when he attempted to hide stolen documents at Maralogo

I'm don't think this is related to Trump's Florida case. The J6 rioters were charged with obstructing the duties of congress, among other things, and SCOTUS ruled that this law as written only applies if records were damaged or destroyed as part of the "obstruction". The J6 rioters, for the most part, halted the proceedings but didn't damage records. So while Trump's case is also document related, I don't think he was charged with obstructing congress, so not sure this ruling helps or hurts Trumps.

It’s a curious ruling by the court, as it seems to conflict with the plain text of the law.

Even though I obviously agree that mere “protestors” should not be subject to 20 years even if they do happened to interrupt an official proceeding. The punishment has to fit the crime.

I think for those who showed violence, or who “protested” by chanting “hang Mike Pence”, the punishment in this statute very much fits the crime. They both interrupted the general proceeding AND targeted a specific individual from performing their duties. I also think the DOJ already did a pretty good job separating out and showing discretion prosecuting those types vs those with more minimal charges of trespass. That’s why only 350/1400 saw the obstructing a proceeding charge tacked on.

Not sure why you bother with the derping and posting instead of just going straight to the flush right away.
