    The law in Texas sounds like a muddled mess. The TX supreme court says doctors don't have to wait until the mother's life is at risk yet TX refuses to provide a list of conditions where the procedure would be appropriate. As a result doctors are hesitant.

    A lot of the laws are like this, for example the book banning laws. They say you can be charged with a felony but don't exactly describe for what. This allows clowns here like Ivermectin boy to confidently state "there are no laws jailing anyone for performing/having an abortion." It leaves medical professionals in a limbo where they don't know what's over the line and what isn't.

    It is written vaguely on purpose. They can point to the law that says abortion is legal, and hope that no one notices the attorney general threatening legal action against doctors who carry out abortions.
