Wow UT lays an early stinker in the SEC tourney.

Can't stand Barnes and UT. Hope they get knocked out in the first round of the NCAA's.

 

He's a horrible tourney coach. 27-26 in the NCAAs. Not sure about his conference tourney record, but for all the times he's been to the NCAAT, his record is awful. BillyD was I believe 35-12 in comparison.

I didn't watch UT. What went wrong for them? We viewed them as "glad we're on the other side of the bracket" and they get baby-seal-clubbed by the one remaining losing-record team.

 

Wow, that game wasn't even close, they should have been able to empty the bench for that game, but they got whipped

 

I watched the entire game. Really bad matchup for UT. MSU has some very athletic bigs that hounded DK all game long and he could never get going. Also, first day in the gym and UT was atrocious from 3. At one point in the game they were 4 of 26 from 3. That got them down by 19 at half. Meanwhile, MSU was getting anything they wanted around the rim, shooting over 75% late into the game at shots around the basket. UT made a run to start the second half, but MSU came right back at them and pushed the lead back over 20 for much of the 2nd half. Matthews for MSU, who is 6'-7" and stong, was handling the ball and driving much of the game and UT had no answer. Plus, Hubbard was doing his thing. MSU just out-muscled UT all game long. I'm hoping that, like MSU against UT, us already having a game under our belt in this gym will give us a bit of an advantage over Bama just the same. What worries me is Wrightsell. He might be their best player and he is supposedly 100% and he missed the first game against us and barely played in the second game. He could be the difference for them.

 

Texas Tech is giving Houston a game. 37 all with 17min left. It's the first time Houston has been challenged in recent games.

You have a nit to pick with the UNT basketball team because their football team injured our QB in 2016? Wait 'til you hear their trumpet section. Those guys & gals are animals!

UNT kicked LSU's ass. Took them out of their game from the end of the first half until late in the game.
