Thanks again. I’ve got a ton of catching up to do from today. I’ll be hopping all over stories tomorrow.
No worries....that's why we have this thread! Lot of stuff going on right now in college basketball.....and it's not even March! Putting a night cap on things..... Texas A&M goes down to Tennessee...86-51 Mississippi State over LSU.....87-67 We're still tied for 5th in the conference with Kentucky - both teams 2 games behind 1st.....things getting interesting!
This has been the best February for SEC basketball fans I can remember. Sometimes there is an interesting race between 3-5th place teams, but I can't remember the regular season being this wide open this late. With four games left to go, there are 7 teams that could theoretically be regular season champs. Realistically, Tennessee, Alabama, and South Carolina could all go 2-2 to finish out the season, Auburn could go 3-1, us and Kentucky could go 4-0, and we get a 5-way tie for regular season champs. The biggest loser on the tiebreaker missing out on the double bye.
Not UF or Sec but I see USF won again, is 21-5 and lead their conference. They've also beaten fsu and fau. Pretty good job from their new coach.
Thanks - didn't realize this. BTW....this thread can be for all NCAA programs. Not just UF or SEC. I edited the title earlier in the season to reflect that (SEC & other games) - so hope everyone feels free to post here with updates they'd like to share.

LSU is beating uga 40-27 at the half. Mikes got his guys playing really well offensively. I’ve been really impressed with their use of the shot clock and their rushed shots at the shot clock buzzer. Princeton would be proud. Great job Dwags!
Miss state beating ky 71-67 with 5 min to go and ky is going to the free throw line. LSU still ahead of jajaw 57-51 with 7:20 to go
i think better if miss state wins but not sure. Keeps miss st a quad 1 win (UK will stay quad 1 regardless) and a UK loss helps us with SEC tourney seeding. pitt down late- be good for gators if they could win
LSU wins by a point. Good game. Uga had a good look late though but missed. Also, had a decent rushed shot at the shot clock buzzer with 1 1/2 left, but that missed too.
Of course KY wins on a last second shot. On the bright side, it gives Florida a 2 game buffer on that 6th spot in the SEC over Miss State and I’m confident selection committee is going to take at least the first 6 teams.
Watched it off and on. Just had a feeling UK would pull it out down the stretch. Even when MSU was killing KY down low.
