Funny thing is how fast UGA plays this year for Mike White. What we called for here at UF for years, he plays that tempo at UGA.
Wins for all SEC teams tonight. LSU game still underway but no way they lose given the current 25 pt delta with 11:47 to play. Lot more SEC action tomorrow with 6 SEC games! Don't forget ours starts early at 4PM!
I wish someone would ask him why. It seemed so simple that it was a bad fit, or just not the best fit with the athletes we had on the roster that could get out on the break. It's almost like he wanted to take the crowd out of the game.
There is a real simple reason why Mike White's Gator teams played a slower pace. We were so bad at defensive rebounding that everyone had to hit the defensive glass and nobody could leak out down the floor. This year's Gator team can push tempo because we can control the defensive glass.
Mizzou currently struggling with #13 Illinois, 49-22 at the half. Game is on FS1. All other SEC teams won tonight.
Ole Miss wins again, 89-72 over Southern Miss Mississippi State goes to 10-2 with a 70-60 win over Rutgers Bama bounces back against Eastern Kentucky, 111-67 Vandy taking Memphis down to the wire, down 4 with 1:36 to go
Thanks for posting today's results, @ApexNC ! Vandy ends up losing by two points.....and are now 4-8! I was out working on my motorcycles most of the day. Now watching "The Last Dance" on ESPN2. I've seen it before but it's been a while. Tremendous documentary on the GOAT!
Prov down by 3 with 9 seconds left and possession....Butler does not foul (!!!!!!!!!!).......Prov gets the 3 to tie it. Now going to OT. Butler = dumb dumb dumb.......
Couple games tonight. Both will be televised on SECN. First Tennessee at home against Norfolk State at 7pm. Then at 9pm Auburn at home against Pennsylvania. No more league games this week until Saturday when conference play begins!
So many matchups that I'm interested in tomorrow, under the heading of "sorting out the KenPom pretenders vs. unloved." (Possibly including us, gulp.) Miss State is a bit ahead of us in KenPom. On the road at a very-unloved South Carolina. KenPom is wrong, one way or the other. KenPom hates 13-0 Ole Miss. Is it wrong? Well, a visit to #5 Tennessee will sort things out. It's a bit of a KenPom jump from us to the next SEC team, Arkansas. Justified? Well, they host Auburn. What'cha got, piggies?
