Yes you can. We had data from Europe in July of 2020 showing that schools didn't have covid outbreaks anymore than the community outbreak. It's that simple. It's the data Florida relied on to open schools. Some states kept schools closed for in person learing for over 1.5 years. Just unacceptable. This isn't some outlandish take. Just common sense. When you and others dismiss it like it wasn't a big deal is why it keeps getting brought up. If you admitted it was a huge mistake most would move on.

Remote learning is fantastic. Remote learning the way we tried to do it during the pandemic was pretty terrible. Teachers were told to just teach their classes while on zoom, rather than getting training on how to adapt their classroom teaching methods to the online world. And it was even worse when schools tried to reopen during the pandemic and teachers were expected to reach in person and online students at the same time. In our school district there were entire months when schools had a quarter of their students and faculty out, but the expectation was that everyone would still be in attendance online even if they were at home. That hybrid model is absolutely the worst method of instruction, the in person students don't get what they need and the online students also don't get what they need.

Florida's virtual school would be one of the top three districts in the state if it was a school district. But they have classes that are built for online learning, and that makes a huge difference.

    LOL!

    You ad hominem is cute.

    Ignorant. But cute.

And yes! Let’s not forget DC. That fits right in defining how stupid and damaging our public health policy was for kids. My kids fortunately have been to the White House and DC. It would have been a beneficial trip for some that was taken away unfortunately.

    Just for you…

And if you would like to come volunteer three hours of your time tonight we will be out teaching/coaching life lessons on the softball field.

Yes and well over a hundred teachers died in Florida as a result. Besides being incredibly stupid your “let ‘em die” attitude toward those who educate your children isn’t moral, American, or Christian.

Thank you for openly admitting that most parents are irresponsible in their child’s education.

Oh, ok. Just provide evidence they got covid at school and show the proof. Otherwise it's just speculation. Teachers died in CA also even though they weren't teaching in school.

The proof was provided by Europe and FL and other states that opened schools. No data from any study shows that schools were vectors for higher covid transmission than the surrounding community. It's that simple.

My last sentence was probably too broad. I was really just comparing the 3 methods as they are being handled now, or were handled during the pandemic. If they sent every student home and said "You're being home schooled now, good luck", then that would have been the worst of the methods. However, I've never seen anyone suggest that we should do it that way so I still disagree that this was a "home-schooling experiment".

That data doesn’t exist. If it did you would have posted it.

So you have no proof, just trying to ignore the data showing there wasn't any more covid spread in schools. Got it. Thanks for confirming you were full of crap.

A simple google search show numerous articles to prove my point but here’s a few.

Four Florida teachers died this week, days before school year begins

LOL. I didn't read anything other than the Awesome headline of one of those links. Let's break this down. One of the articles you posted says "Four Florida teacher died this week, days before school year begins".

So let that marinate some and get back to me when you aren't posting irrational stuff.

and parents or grandparents that would have been exposed by the kid that got infected at school while showing little to no symptoms, all happening when the health care system was overburdened and quality of care collapsing.

Why am I not surprised that you would chime in on this thread? Lol, most predictable poster on Too Hot. If it has to do with Covid and the “generational damage” it has done and questions the science, you’ll bet Q will be right there to defend his stance. Pathetic.

Why am I not surprised that you come to provide an ad hominem attack while providing nothing to the thread. When you have nothing…
