    Maggie Valley is my favorite place to visit, lots of beautiful log homes to stay in. Gives me several spots to drive the Blue Ridge Parkway or hop over to the Great Smoky Mountains. If you are ever in Maggie Valley make sure you stop in at Joey's Pancakes, sometimes over an hour wait in peak season, but they have the best pancakes I've ever eaten. Its really intriguing to go watch the elk bugling in Cataloochee.
