    Family moved to Florida from NorCal in 4th grade. Met my wife and some close friends along the way. Love the state and have a bunch of fond memories from the Panhandle to the Keys.

    Interesting that the often cited long drive across Texas from Beaumont to El Paso is the same as Pensacola to Key West, about 830 miles.
