Please see my post below regarding ownership.
I looked and don’t see that there is some large ownship as was stated by the OP.

So essentially much of this thread is crap based on bad info..

Nope. 100% of outrage is correct. It was not based on the Saudi ownership but rather that it happened at all on a prime time “news” channel. I am certain that the Murdochs got something out of that.

my reasonable suggestion? Subpoenas! Haul them before Congress.

“ I check of course and the Saudi Prince owns 7%”.
If the ownership had zero to do with it why bring it up?

Others took issue with that nugget, it’s wasn’t just you.

So Fox News did an interview with the leader of Saudi Arabia, ahead of a suspected ground breaking peace deal between Israel and SA that will make real progress in the region and be a big win for the Biden Admin and you are upset about it?

I suspect that a Post-Murdoch future has more to do with this than any sort of past relationships. The Saudis have gone on a big PR push after the whole bonesaw incident. I could see them being interested in a major set of international media networks and newspapers that have little in the way of editorial culture beyond what the owners want. There aren't a ton of investors that would really want a global network of media properties. The Saudis seem like a natural fit. I could see this as a bit of an audition.

Less than 20 minutes was an interview with BoneSaws. The other 70 gushed about how great Saudi is. A full on infomercial. Screw the KSA and the equally reprehensible Israel. They are not our allies and do not share our values.

So who in the region should we be dealing with or are you suggesting we leave and abandon the region to Iran?
