He amassed a huge fortune on the backs of suffering of others. The Sandy Hook families endured harassment, death threats and many had to move to avoid the consequences of his "words."

 

You have NO concept of Jesus... And although Alex Jones might just well be a "steaming pile of human garbage" no one deserves that much money for WORDS.... no matter how insensitive or disgusting those words were. How do they even prove defamation? Many people have been slandered and libeled with much easy proof that they were indeed defamed yet not get anywhere near that ridiculous over compensation for it.

How do you prove defamation and harm? How about in a court of law. Which happened. Jones lost. He should pay up.

 

You’re right, Jesus isn’t real, but back to the topic at hand. His words led to his dipshit audience with a combined IQ of 7 to threaten and torment the lives of the families of the victims. Many of them had to move away completely and change their lives to avoid the harassment. It’s very simple how they were able to do it.

 

So, there is harassment involved in this too? That's much more than I had read... Seems like he went way too far with his simple denial of this tragic event.

He's not some guy working a corporate 9-5 who made a comment at the water cooler. He amassed a fortune in large part because of the defemation. So now bye, bye fortune. Maybe he can build it back up honestly next time.

enforcing a court ruling for defamation is not stealing. and intentional, malicious actions that bring harm have consequences.
