David St. John aka @sandmangator has passed away. He died on October 27after many battles with cancer. He was an avid Gator fan as many of you know. He grew up in Jacksonville and graduated from Englewood High.
David was married and lived in Middleburg Fl. Sandman was a beautiful person with a giving and loving heart especially with animals. Before I moved toDaytona we lived around the corner from each other in The Ravines.
Sandman will be missed by all. He was 76
Just wanted to get that out there
He was a huge Gator Softball fan
    Thank you.

Sandman was a great gator, friend, and an avid golfer. I have had the pleasure of playing golf with somewhere in the neighborhood of 500 times. I met him at a radio event (Greg Larson) and loved calling him my friend.

Sandman was a great guy. Also knew him through Larson’s show. Wingtee and Roscoe would know me as Sneaky Long!
