South Korea is close… which had a full free trade agreement said they are 2 months from having the same full free trade agreement back in place. They seem at the front of the line since there isn’t really anything to do. Bodes well for anything complex being finished by President AOC next term.

We never closed 100% as we were allowed to see patients for emergencies (we did one week where we paid our employees a set daily rate while they could not work but had to go unemployment after that). Which basically shut us down. We kept one employee working until the PPP bs came. And want to know a fun fact…the PPP money hit our account the day before we were allowed to reopen and serve our patients. Another fun fact. You can look up online and see we got a second round of PPP because we were forced to shut down our business except for emergencies. The second round was much easier as just had to show the loss we took from being shut down. I would have never thought I would have been so jaded by stupidity. But some of you here made it reality. So I absolutely took the second round of PPP because we qualified for it. I never thought I would see the day we were not allowed to serve our patients unless it was an “emergency”.

Post any link you want on the PPP and what I have said about Covid. Do not lie about our business. I would have never shut down if that was an option. Yes we could see emergencies. So my wife saw a handful of patients on Tues/Wed. And we would drive to our place in Palm Coast since our kids were not allowed to go to school. Crazy times. But yes. You are lying as we were shut down for 7 weeks. Patients missed their normal care appointments because they were not “emergencies”. New patients could not be seen (we sat with one of the best Oral Surgeons out there March 23rd, 2020 discussing what “emergency” meant and a file came in from a new patient we had seen a month earlier about a suspicious spot…cancer positive…thankfully they were allowed to be cared for before the 7 week idiocy).

Spare me your lie that we were exempt from shutting down. You go tell the employees we tried to keep off unemployment but could not that we did not have to shut down outside my wife/myself/one employee…

Doesn't add up. A March 20th E.O. did shut down non-emergency businesses, then it was reversed 10 days later by Order 20-91 that specifically exempted Dentists (and like 90% of other businesses) from the shut down without limits. I know this because that is when I went back to work, because my business was also on that list, without limits. You choose to stay closed for 7 weeks voluntarily, and now act like the shut down was everyone else's fault ... lol. You were just as scared as the rest of us.

And BTW, don't take this as a criticism, I think it's great that you kept yourselves and your employees safe and took full advantage of PPP. That's how it was supposed to work ... it just seems dumb that you now post here like you were above it all and knew from the start that the shut down as a mistake and were against it.

Damn, that's brutal. Moral of the story -- don't post every detail of your personal life, including where your kids go to school, here.

We were not allowed to work outside “emergencies” until May 4 and with timing we did not reopen that day either as it was pushed up.

    Just stop your BS!

You are proving my point. That first EO is dated March 20th. April 1st (EO 20-91) provides a list of businesses deemed essential and allowed to reopen. Dentists are on that list, without limits. They are the 3rd occupation listed, in fact, after clinical researchers and physicians. There is no gray area, here. Dentists were also on the Miami Dade list, without limits, that DeSantis adopted state wide by EO. I was approached by a cop shortly after reopening my business — which even I’ll admit is non essential — but it was on the Miami Dade list… he said a citizen reported me as being non essential…. So I showed him the EO and the list and he left… it’s in black and white, clear as day, and signed by the governor. No one could have stopped you from reopening if you wanted to, but you made the decision to stay closed beyond the required time to keep your staff safe, and I don’t fault you for that. But your continued attacks on the shut down and the people who supported it make you look like a giant, blustering, hypocrite.

    That was for emergent services.

EO 20-112 is the executive order that allowed elective medical procedures to begin again. We were not allowed to reopen until May 4th outside an “emergency”. You clearly have no clue what you are talking about. There is a reason no one could receive care unless they were in pain for those 6/7 weeks.

Here is is again for you to read…

Let's do this. Go back to the stock market. Take your back and forth to PM. Both of you, or all of you or whatever ... Or the thread will be locked. OK?
