Not sure how "acting" like a bratty child makes being wrong better....it's like thinking shitting on vomit somehow makes it better I guess.

It isn't a relief bill. There isn't any relief in that bill. It grants all Presidents more leeway in the future to basically avoid somebody doing to Florida what he did to New York and New Jersey.

Everybody is still laughing at you. You had a new crop of people to tell you why you were wrong today. But keep digging. You must be hitting the core about now.

Yeah, I had a lot of people telling me i was wrong to be opposed to Lockdowns, school closures, masks and vaxxing kids as well. Just because there are a bunch of obtuse posters parroting the same wrong talking point doesn't make it right. Generals down 90!

LOL! Good one. Keep going. This isn't funny in a sad way at all and we are all laughing with you. Maybe you should dig up the classics, like telling us how Covid isn't a disease and then arguing for pages that it wasn't.

Oh no! You mean some far lefties are laughing at me? Like they did with covid? Sure, just let me know when you admit you were wrong on Lockdowns, school closures, masks and vaxxing kids. I'm anxiously waiting for it. Generals down 100! The best part is I know you don't believe any of those things anymore but are so dug in you are too proud to admit it. That's the best part.

Lol! Good stuff man! You can count! Now tell us again how voting for an amendment is the same thing as voting for the bill. Classic stuff!

Can you quote where in the amendment the $17 Billion in funding is, specifically, and to which departments it goes? I asked yesterday, but you never did that (strangely, for somebody so convinced that he was right). I wonder why. I mean, you linked the main bill, which he voted against, but never where the funding in the amendment was.

It is amazing how your insecurities manifest into accusations. But I'm sure you won't be mad to go down by 120, as we all continue to laugh at you for another page. LOL!

No he did not. He voted against all actual money for Sandy.

On his second day of being a congressman on January 4th 2013, his first ever vote was a no vote against HR 41 which temporarily increased the borrowing authority of FEMA to allow the national flood insurance program more money. It had attached $9.7B in relief and Desantis voted no.

On January 14th 2013, he voted for HR 219 which only streamlined FEMA's process for giving out money, but provided $0 funding for anything.

On January 15th 2013 he then voted no on HR 152 (the actual bill that appropriated $50.6B) that included the streamline amendment HR 219 he voted for.

What is more important is where you are getting your $17B figure from. The $17B was for emergency funding for the states most heavily affected by Sandy. And then $33.6B was for long term mitigation and prevention projects. Both of those were in HR 152, not HR 219. HR 219 had no money attached.

So if the overall HR 152 was voted against by Desantis, how did he vote for the $17B? The bill broke money up into two parts of $17B and $33.6B to make a total of $50.6B. There is zero way he could have voted for or against just the $17B because it was how the money was being appropriated in the final bill HR 152, which again, he voted against.

    Game over, you lose.

Maybe just maybe I was talking about AOC staging her photo ops and her tears along the border …
Desantis is at least helping what ever his motive may be.

Too be clear… people are now complaining, arguing… over the “reason” why a politician served food to the needy? Questioning how long a shift he actually worked. Did he stand behind the griddle and actually sweat?
Do y’all question why the Salvation Army Santa rings his bell. Is he doing it only for the pay?
Does it matter. If it was a good work then let it stand on its own. Some of you are so dug in, so much into my side good your side evil, that you can’t let ANYTHING go. DeSantis served hungry people food. Yes, it was a photo op. I bet the hungry people resented every bite they are because of it.

I already answered it. Pro tip, read more, post less. I can’t help it if you are too obtuse to understand.
