I would imagine you can become a biologist without reading Origin of the Species, a historian of the USSR without reading everything written by Marx/Engels, or a physicist without reading Newton's theory of gravity. Why when I studied American history, I was never required to read the Constitution or the Federalist Papers. You seem to think this is some kind of gotcha, when it isnt lol. Like if you "debunk" the Origin of the Species, you suddenly "know more" than a PhD biologist. Whatever floats your boat. Maybe some people will fall for it, this is America, fertile ground for charlatans.

Unlike true conservatism, liberalism is an ideology. That's why liberals have the answer before the question is asked. Example:

Is Muslim immigration good for America?

Liberal: "We're a nation of immigrants. Diversity is our greatest strength. Of course Muslims immigration to the US is good. What are you, a racist."

Conservative: "How's Muslim immigration to Great Britain working out? History has shown that the more diverse a country the more authoritarian the rulers must be to keep diverse groups from spilling each other's blood. Study the Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman empires and the dominions of the Habsburgs and the Romanov's to see what I mean. Or look at Europe today."
