A life-long Republican, RTLifer's experience with the inhumane Texas anti-abortion law. The fear this law has placed in Doctor's to provide any care that could be perceived as advocating for abortion, unless the woman is literally dying on a table in front of them, is undermining the patient-physician relationship. In Texas, and red States following their lead, the power over a woman's health-care decisions are being transferred to politicians.

Once a 'quintessential pro-life Texan,' she had to flee her home state to get an abortion - CNN

We’re so close to theocracy Biden is rumored to be signing an executive order requiring all 12 year olds to be baptized by 2025.

This seems like a kind of dumb move. People are distracted by other things, this is a perfect time to be quiet about abortion and not remind them about it. There was a lot of energy and passion in the summer about the topic, the economy has pushed it out of the national conversation. The GOP should have waited until after the midterms to do something like this.

Lindsey Graham gifts Democrats an anti-abortion bogeyman in final stretch of campaign

If Democrats hold on to the Senate this year, they will have an unlikely ally to thank: Lindsey Graham.

A South Carolina Republican and Donald Trump loyalist who has continued to remain friendly with the former president even as he faces a bevy of criminal investigations, Mr Graham is hardly the person one would expect to hand Senate Democrats a gift roughly a month and a half before control of the Senate is decided for the next two years.

But that’s exactly what happened on Tuesday as Mr Graham, flanked by anti-abortion activists from the Susan B Anthony Pro-Life America group and other opponents of the practice, celebrated the end of Roe vs Wade and vowed to ban abortion after 15 weeks into a woman’s pregnancy should his party retake the Senate.

“If we take back the House and Senate, I can assure you we’ll have a vote on our bill,” the senator proudly declared.

Certainly a headscratcher. Of course, Mitch McConnell said that it was "up to each state to deal with its women"

The Democrats already had momentum based on the abortion issue. Lindsey has just given them another boost. Since the SCOTUS decision overturning Roe Democratic candidates in special elections have outperformed the polls in virtually every special election including ones that they ultimately lost.

So the sacrifice of an occasional woman is a price worth paying to save thousands of early term fetuses and embryos all of which are incapable of survival outside of the womb and the vast majority of which are the size of a kidney bean or smaller. Got it.

I’m saying it’s a hard case. Check that, an EXTREME hard case, all the pro-aborts have.

"Vice President Kamala Harris spoke at the National Baptist Convention about her pro-abortion politics, along with her other 'faith-based' positions".

So Kamala wants to enforce her faith based beliefs on the entire United States? I thought you liberals were exaggerating theocracy but now I see it openly advocated by a sitting VP.

at this point, I wouldn't put it past MAGA inspired idiots to try and pass everything on a strictly majority vote and blow up the 60 vote rule.

McConnell proved that rules don't matter with the two appointments that he stole for the Federalist Society
