NCAA Gymnastics have begun! With another sellout crowd and 3rd largest (9,606) in O-Dome 2.0, Gator Gymnnastics is filling more seats for home games (meets) than all the other UF athletic teams-including men's basketball-that don't play their home games at BHG. I remember in the early 80's, when the SEC added Women's Gymnastics, the Gators were the dominate team, winning SEC from 1981-1985 and led the league in home attendance. We would have 8,000+ for a meet, but that was once every 2-3 years. 5,000 was a good size, especially compared to the other SEC schools who were averaging 500. Then came the Suzanne (Yoculan) and Sarah (Paterson) Show. Alabama and Georgia soon dominated the SEC, and then NCAAs. Their attendances skyrocketed, regularly selling out their meets, while Florida's regressed. Today it is Florida and lsuck selling out home meets and no longer the tidepools and puppies. Even though both Alabama and Ga's venues have more seats, the Gators have a decent shot at finishing ahead of them in attendance. We almost surpassed them last year: Alabama- 9551, Florida- 9108, Georgia- 8419.

    Monday Meets
2PM Fisk, Ohio St, Rutgers at Georgia SECN+
    4PM Oklahoma at LSU ESPN2

Does anybody have an injury update on Baumann? She was pulled from vault and floor at the last minute Friday.

    Go Gators!
