Then why are Trump and his magats blocking the law supported by the border patrol?

Look, slick. Statistically she would have been safer if we had "deported" the US born citizens and just left the immigrants. Sorry if you don't understand numbers and all.

The USA has a demand for a large amount of lower paid, lower educated workers.

Someone else would be filling this void, if not illegals. They would commit a probably similar amount of crime.

So, yes, we need to better regulate and document this workforce. (As the Trumppublicans just prevented. )

But telling lies about their criminality adds nothing to solving the issue. Sport.

Yet somehow she survived in the US until this illegal decided to kill her. Again, if we had a secure border this wouldn’t have happened. Keep trying to rationalize it, real good look for you…

So now you are again making crap up. Thanks for the laughs. What lie am I telling? That Laken Riley would be alive today if this illegal didn’t kill her? Swing and a miss again. This is like clubbing baby seals.

You're spreading the racist mistruth that illegal immigrants are more criminally inclined than any other group.

Astounding you don't realize this by now. That's what this entire abortion of a thread is about: "Be afraid! Be afraid of the Other!" (Subtext : vote for those strong people on the right that really really want to protect you.*)

    * but who did nothing while in office.

Why don't you start a serious thread on it if you're so serious about illegal immigration. Ditch this laughable fear-mongering.

Better yet still, stop contributing to it.

The “mistruth”? Holy shit that is funny. Truth is Laken Riley would be alive today if we had a secure border. Why don’t you keep trying to rationalize why this death couldn’t be stopped. You are embarrassing yourself but it’s pretty funny to laugh at you.

What country on Earth has a secure border? And one that is 2,000 miles long?

As for more immigrants means more crime, that simply isn't true. Large cities that received large numbers of undocumented immigrants, including New York, Philly, Denver, and L. A. all saw reduced crime numbers in 2023.

What happened to Riley is tragic. But we will never stop all immigrants from coming. Nor should we try, especially with our labor needs. What we can do is lower the odds. Do this by expanding our guest worker program and do background checks for all that enter. And don't allow those with a criminal background in. Wouldn't stop all immigrant crime, but would likely lower the occurances.

Whoa - you're really getting upset!

Since it's impossible to wall off a 2,000 mile border, the first step towards a "secure" border would be reducing border traffic, so that limited resources could be better deployed. Good thing the Trumppublicans just put a fork in doing that, huh?

Or is your whole point just: "waaaah, I want a wall!"

Keep minimizing Laken Riley’s death, that’s a real good look there sport. It is fairly easy to secure the border. Just costs a lot of money. Instead of throwing money at Ukraine, let’s get ourselves taken care of first. I know, crazy concept. Anyone saying we can’t do something like securing our border either has an agenda or is too dumb to understand. You figure out which one you are.

It's so easy to secure a border that no country on Earth has ever been completely successful. How did that wall work for Israel again?

Securing the border from illegals is easy. From an army? Not as much. The wall in Israel worked very well for decades against illegals. I guess it takes a certain amount of intelligence to understand the difference. Sorry about that.

You're funny. You shift from caring so so SO very much about this one woman - because you really value life! - to advocating ignoring a place where 10s of thousands have been murdered.

I'm sure, though, that a few hundred billion $ on a border wall will keep out all the illegals though- even the huge amount who arrive by plane.

I hope you find your happy place some day, sport. Hey, maybe you can get Mexico to pay for it!

I don’t have much sympathy for Hamas. No apology for that. Until they return all hostages then keep getting rid of Hamas. Not complicated.

Don't make me laugh harder. Before the Oct 7 Hamas attack, thousands of Palestinians would breach the wall daily to work. The wall only worked when it was guarded 24X7 with troops.

Every day thousands of Palestinian workers enter Israel via breaches in the security fence, between Jenin and Qalqilyah.
The wall proved rather ineffective against Hamas as well, unfortunately.

And our border is 4X longer than Israel's border. And goes through much more difficult terrain.

Again, no country in the history of Earth has successfully kept a border completely secure. What makes you think we could be the first, with one of the largest borders?

"But they know what it takes to secure the border. We handed them the most secure border in the history of the United States and and a roadmap to keep it that way and make it even better, (yet) through 94 executive actions, President Biden completely destroyed border security."

Breach? They were let in daily by Israel. Holy crap this is too funny. Can't fix stupid.

Oh and when you link to some far left website, at least have the balls to say this is a bs link. Would save me the trouble of laughing even more at you.

If you read the previous link, you would have read that the IDF occasionally shoot some of the illegal crossers in the leg as a deterrent. Does this sound like Israel was letting all these people in peacefully? Let's look at some of the photos, shall we?

Here's one of Palestinians climbing the wall with a ladder:

Here's one of Palestinians breaking a hole in the wall to go through:

And here's one of the tunnels under the wall, which Israel would regularly flood with seawater as a deterrent.

Now, does having the IDF shoot illegal entrants, and Palestinians need to climb, breach, and dig underneath the wall truly evidence that all the Palestinians in Israel were there on work permits and entered legally? Maybe in a place I like to call "Sparky's Bizzarro World," where 95 actually makes salient points backed by evidence. But unfortunately, not here in the real world.

Need more evidence that a wall doesn't work? Here are people climbing Trump's wall. A wall that is breached, at minimum, 11 times a day.
