It was originally the Republicans who insisted on tying aid to Ukraine and Israel with legislation to address the crisis at the border not Democrats.
Senate Republicans block Ukraine and Israel aid as they demand border policy changes

I’m not passing the blame. Both sides are idiots. But let’s not confuse the issue. Biden didn’t need this bill to stop the flow of illegals crossing. He could’ve simply reenacted Stay in Mexico and that would’ve done way more than anything that bill would’ve done.

Dude ... we've been through this already, SCOTUS already deemed "stay in Mexico" illegal when Trump tried it ... you think this Supreme Court is going to be nicer to Joe Biden than Trump?

Migrant kids peddling on dangerous Queens roads -- alone

Shocking photos taken by staffers at Councilwoman Joann Ariola’s office this week and provided to The Post show kids peddling on major thoroughfares in southeast Queens — with adults nowhere in sight.

In one photo, a boy less than four-feet tall who looks no older than 5 sells water on a median separating traffic on Woodhaven Boulevard near the Jackie Robinson Parkway in Glendale.

(Don't know if this is the boy referred to in the above paragraph)

Very compelling. It's hard to believe that with approximately 9 million illegal immigrants employed in America, some will commit crimes or do unsavory things.

I'm 100% on board with your plan to replace these people with different ones who will commit no crime.

    What was your plan again?

    No thanks.

I didn't ask for a self-portrait, I was interested in your plan that would keep our economy going by replacing the 9 million employed illegal immigrants with people who would NEVER commit a crime.

    Still waiting.

But it's fun to see your shocking revelations that - wow, an undocumented person broke the law! Astounding!

Wow, blaming Republicans for the border fiasco is a heck of a reach even for all the libs on Too Hot.

The border crisis is all on Biden and his lack of leadership.

Even assuming that Republicans deserve credit for raising the issue while Biden was ignoring the problem doesn't change the fact that the House Republicans under Speaker Mike Johnson at the direction of the defeated former president are blocking enactment of the most significant border security legislation in decades. If one assumes that there is a crisis at the Southern border it should be addressed immediately not ignored so it can be used as a campaign issue. Keep in mind that the bill has been endorsed by the head of the union representing Border Patrol agents who stated that it would significantly reduce unauthorized crossings.

And yet Republicans are opposing a legislative solution to the problem supported by the union representing border patrol agents. Once again for the umpteenth time.

Or, Biden could enact Stay in Mexico and this would stop a huge amount of crossings...

But it seems some don't want our border secure.
