RIP Gator Golf Great Andy Bean

I remember now about Chuck…. ALS is a cruel disease .. lost my mom at age 55
I went over to Sammy’s parents house for dinner a few times. Good folks

 

Sorry about your mother. My grandfather died from it. Terrible way to go.

 

Sammy's mom worked in the cafeteria at my elementary school. She was a nice lady. Her name was Irene. I don't remember much about his dad. Just remember him being very quiet and burning leaves in his back yard. He also had a brother who died quite awhile ago.

 

RiP Andy, UF has produced some fine golfers over the years.
