I don’t know that anyone particularly actually likes him, and the only people I’ve ever heard suggest that he’s a serious candidate or someone worth listening to are MAGA-land surrogates.

I suspect this “he’s going to get a huge pull from Democrats” is Trumpers trying to wish something into reality, because his sole recognizable platform issue (vaccine conspiracy theories) seems to be aimed much more directly at Trump voters than Dems.

You might be right; I still think he'll pull quit of from Biden

Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s Chances of Beating Biden, Trump, According to Polls (newsweek.com)

A recent Reuters/Ipsos poll had Trump winning the hypothetical matchup with 40 percent of the vote compared to Biden's 38 percent and Kennedy's 14 percent. The poll was conducted October 3-4 and surveyed 1,005 adults of voting age. Of those surveyed, 437 were Democrats, 368 were Republicans and 111 were independents.

Similarly, 14 percent of voters viewed Cornel West—who last week switched from the Green Party to independent—favorably when compared to Biden and Trump as presidential selections, according to a PBS NewsHour/NPR/Marist poll that surveyed 1,256 adults from September 25-28.

Fourteen percent is not enough support to secure the presidency for Kennedy, but the poll numbers were surprising all the same. Third-party candidates rarely garner double-digit support in polls, and political strategists are theorizing how Kennedy could influence the 2024 election even if he doesn't win.

That's what I'm thinking ... among Independant's he's split pretty equally between "favorable/unfavorable/WHO?" ... conspiracy theory/anti-vax independents are where he might pick up some votes, and I'd bet those independents favor Trump.

Personally, I don’t mind if he jumps in the race. I’d probably like to have 5-10 candidates in actuality.

I just mean that if your belief isn’t shared by half the populace, it can’t really count as a piece of knowledge.

Bummer is, his platform, as far as I can tell, is pretty solid outside of his Qanon type stuff. But he's not pulling anyone from the antiTrump voting camp

His problem is the left wing media has no interest in interviewing him to do Democrats won't hear about those policies and the right wingers only care about Ukraine funding and vaccines so that's what they ask him when he is interviewed

I will be decided in the House of Representatives with each state getting a vote. A House vote to elect the president would be even worse than the EC itself since as an example Wyoming would be entitled to the same number of votes (1) as California even though CA has over 40 times the population of WY.

You’ve said this repeatedly without evidence. I’m not going to read the rest of the thread because I assume you’re just going to continue along these lines.

I agree. My point is the only people that gave him the time of day was right wing media. I don't expect that to change

Cornel West might be a factor, JR, not so much.
