A decade ago I heard Mike Rowe speak and he sounded like a populist that could connect with the blue collar working man. Mike is concerned about tthe national debt, controlling our borders, health, avoiding stupid wars and getting more vocational training for young Americans. Mike would help RFK Jr take votes from Trump imo. Mike is good looking and a man's man. What do you guys think, good or bad choice for VP?

He would not hurt anything as they would not get elected anyway. Maybe he should just run for President. Most anyone would be better than what we have now.

Barnes had dinner with Bobby Jr 11 days ago. RFK Jr, Barnes, Mike Rowe and Trump are all populists who identify with hardworking blue collar America.

    Uncommon "common sense."from Mike Rowe:

Too expensive is a separate argument from the "not for the most" argument these two four year college graduates (Thiel actually went to Stanford Law also) make.

Most HS grads don't go to a four year college already. What is the acceptable percentage, per people who are REALLY four-year college material, the only ones who would know?

Trump identifies "with hardworking blue collar America" may be the funniest thing I've read here in a very long time.

Obviously, he does, which is why corporate America and the media elites generally hate Trump. If he was a corporate shill, instead of "Pride Day" at the ballpark, it would be "America First!" day at the ballpark.

Lol, I'll give the devil his due for conning a lot of those blue collars into thinking he cares.....grifters have a certain skill set. But the only obvious reality is that Donald could care less, in fact if anything he has disdain for blue collar....as evidenced by any of those ever unfortunate to have been employed by him.
And fyi.....you're weird ballpark reference has nothing to do with the topic

Just another choice ….. the lesser of two evils: DT or the progressive elites that operate through JB. Not much of a choice for many Americans.

Certainly not an optimal situation.....maddening because there are superior and viable options from both parties. Don't even get me started on my guy Kasich being available to serve

I have paid attention to him ever since he personally signed letters to Eagle Scouts I mentored and because he puts some of his money where his mouth is through his foundation. The few of his podcasts I have listened to were right on the money from my perspective. I wouldn’t compare his (often silly) Dirty Jobs acting to dressing up in sillier superhero or cartoon costumes and strolling around a convention center. I don’t see Mike Rowe as a hypocrite any bigger than 99.99% of actors, so I will contend that he is probably as real as any. BTW, the only celebrity that was more accommodating when I requested congratulatory letters for my Eagle Scouts was Bobby Bowden. I had a scout that is a huge FSU fan and Coach Bowden replied with a hand written full page letter in a hand addressed envelope. President Obama’s office didn’t even respond to my request.

Yes, I’ forgotten about Kasich. Wish he could gain some traction (if still interested) as I think he’d make an excellent potus.
