RFK Jr campaign accuses DNC of being undemocratic, demands assurances that every Dem's vote counts

    I don’t buy it for a second. Much of RFK’s support from Republicans was predicated on him running as a Dem primary opponent against Biden. Now RFK pulls away that 15% or so support he had from Dems and most Republicans aren’t going to help Biden win the general by voting for RFK over Trump. Notwithstanding I think it’s pretty clear RFK would love nothing more than to sink Biden. Of course, he’s going to state the opposite for obvious reasons.

    Yeah, and I doubt whether RFK himself believes what he said either.

    Literally the only people I have ever heard mention RFK are Republicans.

    He doesn’t and I don’t see that as a negative on RFK necessarily. It’s an inherent part of being a politician.

    Why would anyone characterize the party that’s hellbent on jailing its chief political rival as un democratic ?

    They wouldn't be trying to jail him if there wasn't probable cause that he committed multiple crimes in multiple jurisdiction and if he wasn't running for the presidency his sorry ass would be in jail prior to his trial(s) kind of like this guy.

    By the way I'm not sure that Republicans can legitimately accuse the DNC of being undemocratic without looking like hypocrites considering that the Republicans didn't even bother to hold primaries in something like half of the states in 2020.

    Members of Donald Trump’s team are quietly preparing to go on offense against Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as internal campaign polling suggests his expected third party bid could draw more votes from Trump than President Joe Biden in a general election.

    Semafor has not independently reviewed the polling. One person close to Trump’s campaign said it showed that Kennedy took more votes from Trump than left-wing independent Cornel West drew from Biden when both were tested.
