Reuters right before Manhattan verdict: Biden +2
    Reuters today: Trump +2

2024 General Election: Trump vs. Biden Polls | RealClearPolling

As I predicted, it appears Trump only gained more street cred with the convictions. Pray that Merchan does not sentence him to incarceration or this lead could swell to +5 or +6 nationally. The chances of Trump collecting more than 350 electoral voters are real.

Anyone using Rasmussen in their index still is not credible.

Here is fivethirtyeight which shows Trump losing a point and a half to Biden since March. No one thinks anyone is changing their mind as the real polls indicate.

@citygator feel it slippin' away dontcha? With all due respect, you shouldn't feel that way. It slipped away a long time ago. This is the aftermath. Let's rally behind President Donald Trump and perhaps he can get 370, 380 electoral votes. This country needs unity, a mandate.

Sort of like my 9-0 prediction on the SCOTUS vote about the Colorado removal from ballot that you were all giddy about? It's a little early to be drinking this heavily, don't you think?

@mdgator05 you seem very emotional and upset. Look, I'm sorry, but elections have consequences and you just know DTJ is going to fill 2 more spots on the SCOTUS at least with that Republican Senate, boy. Right now, you should be trying to get on Mr. Trump's good side.

So does that mean that you don't want to talk about Senators Oz and Walker, which you assured me were done deals? How about Bernie and Matt Bevin?

I would say that the country will never unite around Trump, but I would also say that unity is not a goal of maga nation. They are instead focused on “winning”, which entails beating the other side.

Every poll ending May 31 or later has been within the margin of error. In simple terms the election is a statistical dead heat. By the way the MOE of the Reuters poll which has Trump ahead by 2 percent is 3.0 percent and results are Trump with 41% and Biden with 39% meaning that 20 percent of the respondents either favor 3rd party candidates or are undecided.

By the way if you think Trump benefited from the Manhattan verdict, the last Morning Consult poll taken prior to the verdict had Trump ahead by 2%, the most recent one has Biden ahead by 1.0%. The MOE of that poll is only 1.0 percent and that poll also has the largest sample size (10,260 compared with 930 in the Reuters poll) meaning that the results went from an actual Trump lead prior to the verdict to a statistical tie following the verdict

What is this "unite" bullshit you all keep peddling, anyway? The country wouldn't unite under DeSantis, Haley, Harris or Newsom either. How many presidents have been shot? Is that unity? Our civil war was the deadliest war we've ever had. You act as if the country was "united" before Trump, but it has always been divided. With all the many walks of life we have that are entrenched here for generations, we'll never live in harmony. That is a fantasy, as is the romanticization of the past as if we were this unite cohort. Get real.

The first potus election I really remember was HHH vs Nixon. Neither was a “uniter” and the nation sure as heck wasn’t united at that time …. or since.

And for those who don’t know, the likely demo candidate in the summer of 1968 was RFKennedy ….. who was murdered by a Palestinian before the ‘68 demo convention.

Don't know if he is the same guy posting under a different name but the OP reminds me a lot of another poster who happened to have been a resident of Kentucky and announced on the day of the 2019 Kentucky gubernatorial election that he would be attending Matt Bevin's victory party. For those who do not remember this is what happened.
Democrat Andy Beshear just unseated Kentucky’s Trump-loving governor

And the 1968 Dem convention was a disaster. Their own f'n party wasn't united. People think they are so relevant spouting this "unity" nonsense. Were they united when they colluded against Bernie Sanders? And do you think you're going to get "unity" under Joe Biden? Someone who has made a career out of divisive identity politics? Get real. They aren't even united now. So many in the Dem party want Biden to step aside, but he won't. Real "unity"...
