Do any of you people actually read, or do you just follow your Republi-ban Mullahs and their propaganda outlets?

They are re-opening in the exact same location with a brand new cuisine and motif. NOBODY is going out of business.

Them fitting doesnt matter. The REASON matters.

You can ban a white guy for being a bad dancer, but you can't ban him for being white.

You can ban a black guy for not wearing shoes, but you cant ban him FOR being black.

False yelp reviews were used as a weapon against the restaurant.

I think the better way to say it is legal vs illegal discrimination.

Post #37 isn't a post by you and it isn't deleted. It sided the avalanche of fake 1 star reviews that poured in immediately after the incident.

Wilkinson did not say what the new name of the restaurant will be or when it will reopen.

Matt Adams, the chef of The Red Hen, told the News-Gazette that while the establishment is going under, its “core values will live on.”

Yes, I read the story, and it went out business that's a fact or do you just believe all liberal propaganda, I know the answer to that Mr. Vaccine
If a restaurant is successful, they don't shut down for an unknown period of time just to rebrand. Use your head, they went under, happens all the time. Whether or not they ever re-open under a new name is more likely a dream than a reality. Bad polices and decisions did them in, lol at least THEIR CORE VALUES WILL LIVE ON according to the chef who is also out of a job

Let's see if I can shut this thread down in one reply - Lexington, VA is a small town with population of @ 12,000. It is home to two colleges (Virginia Military Institute and Washington and Lee Univ.), the Virginia Horse Center, multiple historic sites, and a thriving (small-town) arts community. The Red Hen opened with fanfare and gratitude from locals, students, visitors, faculty, and alumni alike as Lexington had only a handful of "real" restaurants at that time. The Huckabee incident had a neutral effect in the long run. The largely conservative locals, VMI students/faculty/staff, and W&L alumni/students stopped visiting the Red Hen. (Also, remember that this is the rural South and refusing to serve a patron based upon politics seemed uncouth to many, even those who may agree with the owner's politics). On the other hand, the left-leaning W&L faculty/staff and visitors who frequent the Horse Center and arts shops increased their patronage. The opening of 2-3 other "upscale" options over the last few years also probably effected the re-branding decision. Thus, one can only speculate if/whether the Huckabee incident prevented growth or it was just time for a change. On my many visits to Lexington, I did not have a reason/opportunity to dine at the Red Hen. However, I spoke with many who dined there and received mixed reviews - none of which were related to politics - and a consistent refrain that it was overpriced for the market.
