Republicans block bill to shield people who travel out of state for abortions

I’ll bite again.

Yes, I absolutely believe that pleasure sex is strictly “acceptable.”

This is another punitive concept from the annals of authority. Sex is basically evil when it’s not just procreation. What a crock.

Reducing women to this concocted “risk” is about as inhumane as it gets.

 

So you’re perfectly fine with a man casually having sex and then leaving the woman to fend for herself if she becomes pregnant. That’s about as inhumane as it gets!

Where did I say that sex was evil? You’re spinning your Rolodex of Prejudice and pulling out some imaginary caricature to pin on me.

In every other area of human endeavor we expect people to act responsibly. Drink responsibly. There’s commercials and billboards for that. You drive a car, you’re responsible for any consequences that you caused from driving the car, like ramming into of someone else’s car. You fire a gun, you’re responsible for where the bullet goes. Buy a house, you’re responsible to make payments. The list goes on and on.

But on this one subject, sex, any discussion of responsibility is taboo.

 

You can talk responsibility all you want but the fact is many young people just don’t give a damn, and they find contraception inconvenient and doesn’t feel good. It’s flabbergasting. Most of these guys would be pretty much worthless as fathers anyway. You live in a Leave it to Beaver world with no clue of who we are dealing with. Those that don’t take responsibility are the least likely ones that you want to father a child.

There is a class of people that make poor decision after poor decision. You can have long conversations about the causes and potential remedies, but bottom line have these people have more children is not in anybody's interest.
