ADDENDUM: Note I said “it’s a huge step to override the voters’ wishes.” I hope it’s appreciated by several of those who agreed with me that this also applies to Biden’s 7,000,000 margin of victory over Herr Narcissist.

Well I assume he's talking about Robert Byrd, but he was not a grand wizard in the KKK.

Ok he wasn't a grand wizard, just an exalted cyclops

Robert Byrd, the longest-serving senator in U.S. history, died Monday at 92. While he was most famous as a master of the Senate’s obscure rules, Byrd wore many hats during his lifetime, including that of Exalted Cyclops in the Ku Klux Klan.

US House kills censure motion against Rep. Rashida Tlaib
The U.S. House voted Wednesday evening to kill a resolution to censure U.S. Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Detroit, for claims leveled at her by U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., of antisemitic conduct including criticism of Israel following the attacks by Hamas last month.

Twenty-three Republicans, including Michigan U.S. Reps. Bill Huizenga, of Holland Township, John Moolenaar, of Caledonia, and Tim Walberg, of Tipton, voted with 199 Democrats to table the resolution, effectively killing it, though another resolution could be introduced. The final tally was 222-186 with 25 members not voting.

All of Michigan's Democratic U.S. House members voted to table the resolution. Three state Republicans − U.S. Reps. Jack Bergman of Watersmeet, John James of Shelby Township and Lisa McClain of Bruce Township − voted to keep Greene's censure resolution alive.

I don't think he was referring to this Robert Byrd.:

"Senator Byrd reflects the transformative power of this nation," stated NAACP President and CEO Benjamin Todd Jealous. "Senator Byrd went from being an active member of the KKK to a being a stalwart supporter of the Civil Rights Act, the Voting Rights Act and many other pieces of seminal legislation that advanced the civil rights and liberties of our country."

It's a start. If he had any integrity at all he would not only avoid running again, he would resign NOW.

George Santos 'blatantly stole' from his campaign, ethics committee says
A congressional panel said George Santos "blatantly stole from his campaign" and exploited "every aspect of his House candidacy for his own personal financial profit".
In a report on Thursday the House ethics committee referred Representative Santos to the Department of Justice for possible prosecution.
Mr Santos, a Republican from New York, has been caught in a series of alleged lies since being elected last year.
    He has denied wrongdoing.
The ethics committee said it would not start disciplinary action itself because it would provide the congressman "with further opportunity to delay any accountability for his actions and could risk interfering with the ongoing criminal prosecution".

I expect him to be expelled from Congress once they return from Thanksgiving recess. Pretty much everybody is tired of him and the report points out several criminal acts.

If McCarthy also leaves for a seven figure lobbyist deal the regressive party is Congress will be back to where they were in October faster than you can say boo. Dems will have that nutty speaker by the ballls.

I mean they’ve already deflected to “what about the KKK” so naturally “all politicians are dishonest” is coming up next

I would be all for expelling Santos and Menendez. Santos isn’t running again because he can’t win that district (and the NY maps are being redrawn). He lied his way into office and wasn’t fact checked on his lies.
