He was on ESPNs Top 40 Under 40 list at #7 overall and the top assistant on that list. I wish him the best of luck. Any success as a head coach by an assistant that jumps to that position straight from the Gators will look good for our program.

 

Now please go get an experienced coach that can help with in-game strategy.

 

Fawcett's article about the transfer portal mentioned two players that might leave. I wonder if Mincey might be taking a few guys with him to JU

 

Congratulations to Coach Mincy, terrific coach, positive attitude and very good ability to connect with the players, he will be missed in the locker room and on the bench

 

It would make sense for guys that probably won’t contribute.

 

JU BB has been a tough nut to crack. If he can go .500 and occasionally sniff an A10 title, they'll probably build him a statue.

Mincy has completely turned to JU program around in one season. Went from a perennial sub .500 team to one that is 21-9 this year and playing in the A Sun Championship game, looking for its first NCAA birth since 1986. Good for him.

 

They are 3 point dogs to Bellarmine. I will definitely be pulling for them this evening!

I was a respectable 14-4... But I'm not the one defending my "basketball knowledge" while not knowing coach Mincy left a year ago.

Im also not the one making weird accusations about mods deleting the threads that make you look good.

 

Lol, yeah whatever. I’m just saying there are more coaches that will be leaving very soon and l will leave it at that. It was fitting that at our last home game of the regular season that we had a “White Out” for the fans. Ironic, one could say.
