The Gators lose a graduate assistant... It's a move up the coaching rungs, so good for Kali James it's a well deserved promotion in his career.

Disregard the video in the story link.

Florida graduate assistant Kali James is expected to take the defensive line position at Jackson State, according to Matt Zenitz. James spent the past two seasons with the Gators.

After graduating from Tuskegee University in 2019, James was immediately hired as a defensive intern at South Carolina. He moved on to coach the defensive line coach for Land Christian Academy.

Could’ve made him the second OL coach after Stapleton left. I kid!

He was a very active recruiter for us. Hate to lose him.
